Morocco, represented by Abdessamad Faik, a professor at Mohammed 6th University in Ben Guerir, participated in the conference.

« We are present at ECOMONDO because we have partnerships with Italy in the development of renewable energies and green hydrogen. The aim is to take a look at the things that Morocco has achieved in the field of green energies, especially in photovoltaic energies, wind energies, and hydroenergies », he mentioned.

« Morocco is currently developing projects to produce green hydrogen and green ammonia, which are considered environmentally friendly. Green ammonia is used as a fertilizer in the agricultural sector. It has also signed several agreements to develop batteries for use in transport and the automotive industry. We are working with Italian partners to set up a training center for African cadres in the field of renewable energies in Morocco », he asserted.
